Traeger is without a doubt the most popular and recognized smoker out there. They are also now made in China. As an Oregonian where Traeger was started I was very upset when they made that move. That sent me looking to other brands. I ended up going with the Louisiana County Smoker but the Green Mountain would be high on my list today.
A few things I'd look for are digital cooking systems, avoid the dial with the estimated temp if you can. Louisiana has one with that as well as temp prob for the meat too. Others have this feature too.
The other thing if you are a steak person and want it seared that is very hard to do on a smoker. Look for something like a sliding broiler plate (photo below) since this allows some direct heat and is better for searing.

I've kept our 20 year old Weber though. I love the smoker, but for quick things like a burger it's still easier.
