Little red Honda pellet grill

Pellet grills use very little power. There are three parts that are powered: the heating element, the auger, and the fans.

At startup, the anger turns and fills the pot with pellets. Then the heating element runs for about 45-60 seconds to ignite the pellets, and then the fans stoke the flames.

After that initial ignition, the igniter never runs again, so the only power is the small fans and the occasional use of the auger to dispense more pellets.

The whole process uses hardly any power. If you have an inverter, you won't even have to run the Honda much.

Yes but it's overkill and noisy. Not noisy like a contractor gen but noisy in that who wants to listen to a gen run for several hours or longer?

I would invest in a 150W inverter with alligator clips and use the RV batteries to power grill. I've done that many times with my Traeger Junior. I already have an inverter so I just plugged the Traeger into the trailers outside 120V plugin.

A Green Mountain Davey Crockett will run on DC so no need for a generator

Those GMGs are a camper's dream. I love m my two GMGs so much more than my Traeger.

Pellet grill can be hooked to a 12v battery. One can run the generator later or at anytime to recharge battery if really concerned about it.
