Everything, turkey, green bean salad, pretzel salad, potatoes, sweet potatoes and the rolls...all done in the coach with the convection oven. Only thing we skipped this year was the ham.....Dennis

Thanksgiving never works out well for me. This year, DH has had complications from hernia surgery in October. He's on a bland diet. The smell of many foods is bothering him and is having a lot of pain. We're staying home with jello and toast. Looking forward to better times.

We are all set. Bought a new can of Spam today and a fresh loaf of bread. Already had the mayonnaise in the fridge. Can hardly wait for tomorrow.

If they're coming here, I clean bathrooms and lightly clean the rest of the house. As a rule, I keep it clean so it's not too bad. THEN, when they all go home, I deep clean, because it needs it. My Mom taught me to get serious about cleaning afterwards, not before. It's how I roll. LOL !

DH - Potatoes, 5#'s, are peeled and soaking in water...overnight. Tomorrow will cube them and then it's 'slow cooker time!! :B

DH - Later this afternoon will put the stuffing/dressing together and goes into the fridge overnight. Tomorrow into another slow cooker. :B

DW - already working on the cranberries...then into the fridge.

DW - Maple-roasted sweet potatoes prepped tonight and finished off in the morning.

DW - Green Bean Casserole will be prepped and made tomorrow...have to have something for the DW to do. :W

DH - 14# turkey goes in the Char Broil Big Easy about 2:30 - 3:00pm tomorrow. Will be looking for 165 degrees which should be about 2:15 of cooking time.

DG (Dear Guests) - Are doing desert - their homemade Chocolate Ganache...to die for!! :p:p
