Charcoal. Get a chimney starter. Coals ready in 15 minutes, just 5 more then letting the gasser come up to temp and cook off the last meal. With charcoal I just let it burn out after cooking and the grate is clean and ready for the brush next cook. Charcoal is really not that much more time consuming then using a gasser but it is a little more work than just lighting a burner. You do have to pour charcoal out of the bag after all.
Also lost my folding chimney starter last year. Bought a new one off the shelf of an Ace Hardware store but the handle doesn't fold down. And it's a tad small. You do what you have to.
