When beef, pork, lamb or poultry are raised for food-they are slaughtered at a young age,(not after years of unknown contamination)and the FDA is involved. As stated before-horses were not raised for human consumption. They have been dosed with drugs not approved for the human food supply.
Per red highlight: Unless you're the person sending them off, it's hard for me to visualize any reason for you to be there except as part of some political process-?
But still assuming that's not the reason for this thread:
The point you seem to be missing is that restarting inspections-for-human-consumption means that unfit-for-humans drugs etc. will be kept OUT of the human food chain. Just as with any other table meat.
