frozen chicken or beef fajita meat. (Tyson). Put in smaller freezer bags serving size. Take what you think you'll use. Take fajita shells, sour cream, salsa, shredded cheese.
The frozen chicken you can use in a stir fry with vegetables or a casserole in a skillet by adding cream of chicken soup and a can of mixed vegetables.
Make pasta or spaghetti at home, put in small portion bags. For the sauce, I just open a jar of sauce with meat.
The leftover spaghetti sauce makes great chili by adding fresh onion, green pepper, chili seasoning (packet) and kidney beans.
Any skillet dish you can use rice.
Brown the hamburger, drain and put in baggies in small portions. You can use this for many skillet dishes. Add diced cooked onion, cream of mushroom soup and serve over Ready Rice or precooked noodles. Or add cooked onion and a can of tomatoes.
Look for canned vegetables in small single portions with pop top lids.
Cubed steak in a skillet with cream of mushroom soup or tomatoes served over Ready Rice or instant mashed potatoes (look for the small bags). Cubed steak takes longer to cook. A small electric crock pot would help.
