One of the best purchases we ever made was a vacuum sealer. Took a while to learn the tricks, but is now the best thing in my world. For example, we marinade chops and steaks. Freeze them then place in a vacuum sealed bag. Make stews, soups, sloppy joes, pasta sauce, beans with ham, etc. Freeze, then pop out of the containers and vacuum seal. Can be heated in a pot of boiling water. I have made beef patties, including stuffed patties. Freeze then put in vacuum bag. Cooked chicken, cooked ground beef, sealed and frozen. Easy clean up too.
