Easy Easy Chili:
1 can black beans
1 can tomatoes
1 small can rotel tomatoes
1 package chili seasoning mix
Cooked ground beef, pork, or chicken, shredded - We make this chili when we have leftover meat - like leftover hamburgers. Put it all in a pot and heat it up.
Two of the best items we take for easy meals are canned tuna (in water) and canned chicken breast. Both make excellent sandwiches.
Also, bring the fixins for tacos: diced onions, ground beef, one small jar salsa, and a package of taco seasoning mix put into skillet and cooked. Soft flour tortillas, a small package of shredded lettuce, lowfat sourcream, a tomato to dice up, and a package of shredded cheese complete the taco dinner package.
Of course, there's grilled cheese sandwiches or you can make quesadillas with your leftover tortillas and cheese.
