Try Wisdom's in Carmen,Az south of Tubac,Az. Favorite of the locals from Green Valley and South areas. Go into Nogales,Az, follow Grand Ave. keep your eyes peeled and look for Mom and Pop cafes and food carts along the way. Like many have said true Mexican food is rather bland or seems to be in this area. Tastes need to be adapted to the area you are in. We have learned to enjoy all of the different tastes of Mexican food in all of the different areas. But mostly, we enjoy the Mexican people, they are what makes the food so good..
