Jeeze, I always thought there were just sweet potatoes and yams, now I find out there are various colors of both. That's what I like about the folks at RVNET. About the time a person thinks he knows everything, he finds out how dumb he is. I'll tell you what, when I go to the produce market here I'll be looking for any variation of all.. Thanks...
Here's another thought. I notice the tags on the veggies or fruit have a four digit number. Another poster back awhile mentioned a number to look for when buying onions. For an educated buyer, is a number important? A snowbird potato farmer once told me to watch for a certain potato, maybe the one he grows. :) Is there any way to check what the number means? I'm mostly interested in sweet onions...Thanks
