Any grilled sandwich; favorites are Reubens, Ham (your favorite lunch meats) and Cheese. Pizza dough can make pizza pockets or calzones. I've made a Cuban.
I like making pies using:bread slices, crescent roll dough(extra care) or pie crust and whatever fillings you prefer. If I am not using fresh fruit, I get jar pie filling so I can easily save some for later.
I have also cooked the large cinnamon rolls over the fire this way but it takes more time.
For me, the trick is placing/supporting the iron so it's fairly level and not too hot.Turn often when you have a vulnerable bread such as a crescent roll.
