I bought the Pro at a thrift store for $6.
I grew a bunch of red beets and I like to slice them before pressure cooking them.
The shooter WAS GREAT for the hard beets! Cut them like nothing. I even used the Julian Blade to make them wavy/fancy.
They make great FRESH hash browns too with the shredder blade.
I also use it for cracker crumbs, grinds them very fine.
Quick clean up too, disassembles easily!
I found another one at a flea market for $5. and sent it to my sister. At first she was skeptical, now she brags about how many uses she has found for it!
I used to see the commercials on TV every Christmas and though what a stupid thing to have but it sure proved me wrong.
