We DO when we're RVing but have not formally competed. We do enjoy the Dutch Oven Gatherings (DOGs). You might be interested in some in your state. DOGs welcome everyone and you do not have to join the dutch oven group to attend. A lot of nice folks attend these and it's a good way to pick up free advice. Beginners and those less experienced are welcome. Here's the Southern Cal Chapter events. They're having a gathering at Doheny Beach in two weeks.

Don't know if the Fortuna group is still active but here's their webpage.

- magnusfideExplorer IIIt's an outstanding event; take snacks because the aromas will have your stomach growling.
- TucsonJimExplorer IIThanks for the post. I just sent the info to my son and DIL. They live in SLC.
