From a quality standpoint I'd totallly agree with you but I draw the line at having to cook something before it goes in the crock pot. For example, you'd never find me browning hamburger to make a crock pot recipe as it would defeat the whole purpose of why I'm using a crock pot. 1 pot, set it and forget it!
Agree...meat turned out tender, moist and browned.
Don't forget to plug the appliance in though. :W
