+1 I have several grandchildren with various food allergies. One ended up in the ER with one bite of a peanut butter cookie at a school closing ceremony this month.

Spicy pretzels

Combine:
1 20 oz bag pretzel sticks, 1 tsp each cayenne pepper, garlic salt, 1 pkg ranch dressing, 1 cup oil

Divide between 2 cookie sheets and bake at 200 degrees, turning every 1/2 hr.

They're positively addictive!


Goldfish mix

Combine:

5 cups corn chex, 3/4 bag pretzel sticks, 1 large box goldfish crackers, 1 pkg ranch dressing, 1/3 cup oil

Mix thoroughly, turning in container every 10 mins until coated.

Enjoy!

If you don't mind using your oven and then bringing outside, I get a lot of appetizzers and desserts from Wal Mart & Costco frozen section and either heating or thawing for our happy hour or after dinner snacks. Happy hour stuff I do like stuffed mushrooms, mozz. sticks, potato skins... Costco frozen cheesecake bites are delicious.

If you want to 'look' like a trendy foodie.
Here is what I bring to campfire get togethers and it makes a hit every time because it's so different than the same o same BBQ pass a dish.

Bonus is it's cheap and easy to make in an RV too. Not to mention the presentation makes you look like you know what you are doing!:C

Go to a store like Publix if you have one in your area.

1. Round loaf of fresh baked artisan bread sourdough or multi grain from the store bakery.

2. Tub of fresh 'cheese,spinach,artichoke' dip from the store deli.

3. Bag of Tostito's 'Scoop' chips

Pull out the middle of the bread the size of the tub break in chunks.
Insert tub of dip into the hole you made in the bread.
Put bread on plate and place chunks of bread, and Tostito's scoop chips around the loaf.

Hint: Buy 2 tubs of dip to replace the empty one when the gang devours it all up in just minutes, it's that good!

"Moinks" Wrap a thawed, frozen meatball with a strip of bacon, place on skewers and grill.

Fill sugar cones with a combination of mini marshmellows, chocolate chips, peanut butter, strawberries, bananas, etc. Wrap in foil and set over the fire for a few minutes.

Cabbage Appetizer: Mix 2 round containers of Bacon-Ranch chip with 1 shredded cabbage. Double wrap in foil, grill for 20 minutes or until done. Serve with crackers.

Mustard Dip: Combine 3/4 cup sugar, 1 T. olive oil, 1.5 cups mayo, 2 T. stone ground mustard, 1/2 cup golden prepared mustard (Plochman's), 3/4 T. garlic powder and 3/4 T. dill weed. Serve with pretzels

One of my few processed food secret delights: Harry and David's Asiago Cheese dip. Can only be eaten after dark so no one can read the ingredient label:W.
