Leo, no animosity but legitimate safety concerns. Read Francesca's post again. I've seen one of these in action and as mentioned by the "food cop", my concerns are valid. We share safety issues on this RV forum as well and like Francesca and those chefs I know in person, camping is no place for this method. I've had melt in the mouth steak without it. Safety first and common sense should always be pursued.
BK's overreaction and spurious assumptions and accusations aside, everyone here has been civil and voiced legitimate concerns based on science and experience. BK simply took the whole issue too personally. You're right in that life is too short, in this case, it's too short to take the opinions of others so personally.
