Spelt questions

-Can spelt be used as a 1:1 substitute for wheat flour?
-Is spelt "grainy" in texture?

  • Sorry, spelt is wheat flour. Just a different kind of wheat.
    I do a lot of experimental baking but have not tried it because it is a kind of wheat and I have been gluten free for over 35 years.
    And if you do a search for it you should find spelt recipes.
