We have never heard the term squash puppies but your recipe tells me that you're making squash fritters. They can be made with cornmeal or pancake batter. By any name they're good. Thanks for the recipe.
No abuse here. If I was going to squash them I wouldn't advertise it in the cooking section of the forum. My little critters live a life of luxury. They pretty much "let" us live with them. LOL
