My Dad always did the Holiday cooking, or at least the birds and dressing/stuffing. I say birds because besides the turkey he always roasted a duck also.
He always stuffed the turkey but since that wasn't going to be enough baked a big dish in the oven. When making the dressing/stuffing he would always make enough to put in a separate bowl, raw, and stick in the fridge for me....yum!!!!
With all that this year, since we are home until mid December before heading South, our 14# turkey will be made in the Char Broil oil less cooker and the dressing/stuffing will be done in the crockpot and save the oven for other things like a green bean casserole.... Like my Dad I'll do the bird and dressing/stuffing and the DW will do the sides.
