T-fal on gas?
I've never tried it before, never owned the stuff I've always cooked with gas and the best of the best pots. The GF asked if it can be done, so here I am asking.:@

Yes, it can be done, but it is best to moderate the temperatures.
A red hot burner runs about 850 C and a propane flame runs about 2400 C.
T-fal is safe to about 300 C, so it can be used badly on both types of appliances.
The large burner on a propane stove does about 7000 btu's and the large burner on electric stove about 5200 btu's.
