I bought a Coleman about 6-8 years ago & tested it in my kitchen for 4 weeks,it kept the temp at 38=40 for over 3 weeks then they started creeping up.it has no defrost system so I turned it off for a few hrs with lid open to clear & worked fine again. Prechilling the items is a must. Also I set mine upright because cold air sinks & the only way to get a even temp was to put the cooling plate at the top. Im thinking the advertised temp drop is 40 below what the room temp is but could be off some. I will be using mine this weekend if all goes as planned
