Thickening Chili tip??

I make homemade chili and want to use leftovers for chili dogs. I don't like doing this because the liquid soaks into the hotdog buns. Anyone have a tip for making it thicker?
  • My family always used beans ground through a thin strainer, or blended to add thickness to chili
  • Masa harina is my personal fav because of the lovely flavour it adds...sort of like instant cornbread. Nevertheless you've many possibilities and here is a link that gives techniques and different thickeners:
