Dough for bottom crust is pretty automatic. However, I really love a crumb crust for some of my fruit pies.
1 1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter (cold & cubed)
Couple sprinkles of cinnamon
Cut cold butter into flour, sugar and cinnamon mixture until butter is pea size.
This is my go-to apple pie topping.
