Toaster Oven in an RV?

Real tired of using the micro for quick meals.

How many of you have a toaster over in the RV?

From your experience which ones to stay away from and what ones work the best "in an RV"? Electric draw cause any problems?
  • We have toaster oven. We also have convection/microwave but no real oven. We never used convection part of microwave, didn't read directions so not sure how it works anyway.
  • A friend had sent me the link to this Cuisinart.

It looks like a nice alternative to a straight toaster oven. It's available at Amazon also.

For me, I don't use 120v when camping so I don't have a microwave, let alone a toaster or convection oven. I just use the propane stove and oven.
  • Toaster Oven and Nu Wave rarely use MW except for warm up of left overs. Use 12v crock pot when on road meal ready when we land. only need some warm bread and butter or similar.
  • Thanks. All your help saves me from going thru that ole learning curve of buying and throwing out until I figure out what works best in the MH.

Sounds like the convection toaster oven is the way to go. Thanks for your input, appreciate it. :C
