Use Water Pan for Smoking Turkey?
I am going to attempt my first smoked turkey breast (bone in) this year and I am wondering if you guys use the water pan or not. If so, do you just use water? I have thought about an apple juice/wat...

Use 1/2 water and 1/2 cider or apple juice. I used all apple juice once, and will never do that again as it burns into the water pan and good luck getting it clean. As for the electric smoker, I dought that you will get it done. Smoke it in there for 1 hour and then move it to the oven to finish.
