Well, the turkey's gone. Lots of the usual microwaved plates of leftovers and white bread-with-mayo sandwiches. Then I made a few quarts of broth from the bones and bits, and we had turkey rice soup for a couple of nights.
The last of the turkey meat and broth went into pot pies using last Sunday's Parade Magazine recipe I mentioned earlier and they were great. Good use of the four 8-oz ramekins in the dish cupboard. The only downside was having to shell out a few bucks for puff pastry, but it was worth it.
