Leftovers!

The only time of the year I make sandwiches with white bread and mayo.

No, wait.....forgot about fresh tomato season.

We had enough left over for another meal. Froze the leftover turkey and in a few weeks we will take it out to thaw and then warm it up in a pot with gravy covering the turkey,

We brought home a nice care package but not too big which is good. Four days of the stuff and I'll need a bigger truck. (again)

We enjoyed some of our leftovers after coming off the road tonight! Excellent they were! Sure beat the heck out of the canned beef stew or sweet sue chicken and dumplings we normally have:) I hope Carol doesn't read this!

I love left over Thanksgiving sandwiches. White bread, lots o' mayo., layer on the turkey, a layer of stuffing, and a layer o' cranberry sauce. A full meal in a sandwich.

What? is a leftover? Our family is not allowed to leave the table without at least a 10% increase in girth!

I should have provided more information. The original meal was/is outstanding.

However, I do enjoy the leftover turkey sandwiches better than the hot turkey.

For us it's hot turkey sandwiches from any meat left over and soup from the carcass.
