Certainly not a destination, but if you're passing thru the Greater Cincinnati area and your tongue is hanging out for a Reuben sandwich, try Izzy's . There are several in the area, but the original Izzy's downtown put on quite a show when I was working in downtown Cincinnati. You ordered at the counter, ate your Reuben and potato pancake, walked up to the cash register, told Izzy what you ate, and he told you what to pay. The price varied depending on how you were dressed.
Izzy and his wife carried on a never ending fight behind the counter. That was the free entertainment. Alas, Izzy and his wife are no longer with us, but the Reubens are still the same. They even have some non-kosher items on the menu now, but the Reubens are the stars.
