I suspect it would work using the method I generally use at the house. I wouldn't do enough for an army, like the picture appears to do. I cook my eggs in a hot pan, covered for one minute and then remove them and like rice, let them steam for 30 seconds more. This works well for me from my refrigerator. I suspect that the temp of the eggs would dictate timing. On the grill a lid of AL foil might for fine.
With some experimentation i think I could do a half dozen eggs sunny side up all at one time. That's the attraction for me. I hate cooking breakfast two at a time when doing for 3 or 4 people.
