A pressure cooker is very fast and it is also completely portable.
For example, we took ours along right to the Raspberry patch, picked and cleaned the berries, then made the syrup and processed the jars of berries using a portable propane camp stove.
We did 7 quarts at a time or 8 pints at a time.
