With the advent of microwaves in most RVs now there is no reason to indulge in the unsafe practice of cooking while driving. Food is made ahead of time and reheated in the mw for short overnighters and for days of setup. There is no longer any need to cook while driving.
Boats are always "underway" and not always close to an lp refuel so shorter cooking times are a must and pcs are handy.
