We will sometimes stay at KOA Campgrounds. They seem to have a whole lot of activities for the kids, especially on weekends and holidays. But, we think it is even more important to get the kids into a national park away from their cell phones, ipods, and video games. Get them hiking, fishing and sitting around the camp fire talking and get them playing board games as a family. It sounds like the old folks in us talking, but it sure has worked with our kids and grand kids.
