campgrounds on ocean NJ prt of wast coast

Not on the ocean but on the water. Castaways in ocean city md ( Berlin). They do have a shuttle bus to take you into ocean city, nice perk. Good luck

I have to agree on DE seashore park is a good choice. It may still be a bit chilly however coming from Maine DE may seem like Miami Beach!:B

We stay here usually 3-4 times a year.. Great campground , cheap ($45.00) clean , on the water ( inlet) walk to the ocean... All that BUT like stated ,there may not be too many warm beach days that time of year.... Our first trip there is usually Memorial Day ..

Assateague State Park in Maryland is just over the dune line from the ocean. Not sure how crowded they are in April, but they're booked pretty heavy in the warmer weather, especially the loop with electricity. The National Park is close by, too, although camping is no-hook ups there, as I recall.
