camping with little ones

hey all. my daughter went for 2 4 dayers last summer at 4 and 6 months old. still to small to do much. now shes walking and playing and having a good time and we have another on the way. any suggestions for simple fun toddler activities when camping? I have no doubt we will find plenty of fun on our own but im always open to ideas.

    Dirt, rocks, mud. And ALWAYS a designated and acknowledged watcher on duty. You never want to hear "But I thought you were watching her."

    My two DD's managed to survive camping from age 6 weeks on, but the just-walking exploring toddler time was exhausting and also lots of fun.

    Our kids had a ball investigating nature. From bugs to pine cones to slugs, they had a blast.
