We went last weekend to Taughannock Falls - state campground. Really liked it there. Hookups were easy and in great condition. Get an RV site that is an even number. This way your camper blocks the wind (well, it was windy when we were there and the folks with the odd numbered sites had the wind blowing into their doors all weekend). The only place we could find wood was a the office, no one in the Ithaca area sells it like we are used to seeing. There is a great organic market right in town and be sure to ask about the ice cream place. Can't remember the name but it begins with a 'P.' The best part is the walk around the falls. Truly stunning. Enjoy!!
