Go for it. We took all our kids sailing at very young ages (daughter was 2 weeks old) Very similar to RV.
This summer we'll have our 5 month old granddaughter on the boat for 2 weeks. Later she'll be in the RV
As stated above - warm, dry, fed and also sun protected.
Good luck finding enough storage for all the luggage little ones come with.
