How did you get into Rving or camping?

My dad had a wandering spirit so he liked to go see the world - the easiest way he knew how was to put a mattress in the back of his work van and a tent for us kids and take off - we never really knew where we were going. Later he bought a class C and adventured all over the US when we were out of school. He loved to take pictures and put them into slide shows - the first weekend after a trip he would invite friends over and show them the trip and tell them all the funny stories. I guess I inherited his wandering spirit and his love for the great outdoors. Miss those days....dad still has the spirit, but mom can't travel due to alzheimers.
