How did you get into Rving or camping?
Is being out in the woods some type of gene or in the blood, what is with camping?

I grew up camping; hotels were too pricey I guess. Mom told us she hated camping, but she sure was good at it...go figure:?. That seemed to come to a halt when I (the oldest of four girls) started working every summer in my mid-teens.
We did some camping when our girls were little, but that also came to an end. We were mostly just going back and forth from VA to WA to visit my family.
Our two daughters did some camping with the Girl Scouts; I didn't go along...have no idea why.
Then DH and I got into Civil War reenacting. That meant an A tent, cooking over a fire, no electricity, carrying water from the water buffalo. We enjoyed it, even though we hated the summer heat and humidity. Eventually that started to get old as we got older.
One year to celebrate our anniversary we took a little trip, stayed in a very nice hotel...and later found bedbugs:o when we got home. That got me thinking maybe we needed to check into a camper.
So we started researching, asking questions. We got a really nice HTT, but never got to use it...long story. Then we got our motorhome. Now are addicted and can't stop;)
