We're not full timers (yet), so it's not as big of an issue, but we still ask our neighbor or our kids (if they don't go with us) to take it in each day....then, when we get home, it's all right there.
They will usually also water the plants, and keep things looking as if we are still in the house.
If we don't take all the dogs (8 of them) they will stop in to feed them, as well as the cats.
FT will be a challenge to be sure, but I think we'd do the same thing, but just have the mail (after the junk mail is gleened from it) put in a mailer and sent FedEx or Priority Mail to a CG we happen to be staying at.
Some of the "Mailbox, Etc." places will forward your mail for you, for a fee.
