NJ Family campers

Really liked Allaire, would like to head back there again. Going to be kept to the front of the CG due to size now... last time there we were in our Roo 23SS hybrid, no chance of making it all to far in the back with new TT.


Kids were itching to get back to Cape May. We usually try and do a June trip there every other year... doing CT instead this year and our summer vacation is going to be OBX/Williamsburg.



Where you heading to in Cape Cod? We stayed in Eastham two years ago at Atlantic Oaks. Pretty nice CG with the rail trail right behind it. Can give you some of the places we visited while there... learned a few lessons the hard way there- drove all the way to Hyannis from Eastham to spend the day, one of the highlights was to be the Cape Cod Potato Chip Factory Tour - closed on the weekends - it is open M-F during business hours. We toured the entire cape from Hyannis all the way out to Race Point, Provincetown. You can drive on the beach in the NPS with a permit, full size spare, plywood jack pad, tow strap and a shovel (check the NPS website for details) - had everything but a full size spare... :(

We usually start in April but things have been too busy. Finally got in a well needed quiet weekend at Alaire State Park. A big 3 mile drive. We'll get down to Seashore Campground in Cape May soon and Cape Cod is reserved for the long summer vaca. You can always find us at New Jersey Motorsports Park the second weekend of Sept for the AMA Pro Superbike races. Always a Great time....besides 8 am alarm clock

Rolling out to East Lyme, CT for a visit to Rocky Neck State Park, the USS Nautilus, and Mystic Seaport when the kiddos get out of school next week.

Then off to Knoebels in July...

Not so sure about Gloucester county... we are heading to Cumberland County in the fall- probably stay at Belleplain...

Anyone in northern NJ looking to plan any family group outings? Looking to get some families together in the NY/NJ/PA area for a occasional mini rally...

We are planning our first trip for the first weekend in April to go out to bushkill falls... staying in NJ right by the gap.

Trips to Kneobles... Allaire... Turkey Swamp...the Catskills...

We are staying at J&D campground July 4 to the 12.

Heading to Knoebels August 25-30th. CAnnot wait. This will be the third summer in a row and we absolutely love it. We stay in Knoebels on Prince Edward Island P58.
