Who and when are campers going to Knoebels this year?
We are headed out the weekend after Father's Day. We are staying at Lake Glory, since we are going with a few tenting families. J & D doesn't allow tents. We have a group of 5 families going this year. It is so much fun!! Do you have plans? - GeorgeNJExplorerYoutube tour of Swartswood State Park

- GeorgeNJExplorerHey Glenn, It was nice meeting you guys, too.
- Captivao7ExplorerHello George,
It was nice meeting you and I am glad you made it out. - GeorgeNJExplorerCaptiva7 (Glenn), We made it backing out of that tight spot the next day. I had my son (10) spot me with a walkie-talkie, he did a good job. I was very happy that we fit in there, that's our favorite spot being closest to the lake there.
We're going back for Thur, Fri & Sat. - GeorgeNJExplorerCaptivao7, We're going to Swartswood this morning for one night, Then again next week for a few days as the kids are off for Easter break. BTW, I'm right in Bville, just up the road from you in Sparta.
- Captivao7ExplorerHello NJ Shore and George nj. I grew-up in Fredon and that was my backyard. If you would like to camp at swartswood:) for a weekend in May send me a PM.
- GeorgeNJExplorerHi Jersey Shore,
We drove down to Alarie park this past winter to get a look at it, just the camping area to see if we'd fit at 36'. The rest of the park looks nice from what I saw on youtube. We figure camping down there would be another chance at doing the shore, but on the cheap. We always stay in the White Sands Resort in PP, which is right on the beach, but pricey. This year we'll go twice, one time in the camper.
We love Swartswood, especially when we're the only ones in the whole park during late fall/winter- into late winter/early spring. Peak times in the summer it's really busy, but still fun. You should come back with the family, I'm sure it's as nice as you remember. There are some videos on youtube of Swartswood that you should check out, too.
