North Bend Kerr Lake Va
Has anyone stayed at this park ? Need pros and cons and in your opinion the prime site. Planning to go June 6th and need to make the reservation. Thanks in advance for info.

- Agree with nypatnva. Plan to walk or drive each loop to note campsites for future stays, as you will like this place. We just updated our notes, and it seems that the sites are a bit harder to get into on loop C. I would avoid sites 51-77 and 179 (its at a 90 angle, uphill with trees on either side).
You can also search the forum as other comments have been made on North Bend. You can see site pictures at campsitephotos - I've been going to that park for 14 years and I can honestly say there are no "bad" sites. Area D has my favorite sites. JMHO
"B" area seems to be the favorite of most people. Your first trip will be your discovery trip where you walk around the different areas and pick your favorite site(s).
