North Bend Kerr Lake Va

Just got back home from North Bend. What an awesome 5 days, even with all the rain Friday. This is an awesome park. 250 sites in 4 different sections. Awesome shower houses and beach sections in each section. Made a reservation for Sept. and can't wait til time to go back. I was so impressed and husband loved fishing at the Kerr Lake dam. Great 5 days. Only one complaint, time went by way too fast. Come on September.

    Kerr lake is my favorite place. We stayed at henderson point NC, end of May. Lake was flooded, but the water line resided daily the week we were there. I miss it already.

    I want to check out some of the other loops now.

    SHHHHH! Don't tell anyone. BTW, you have some great state parks on Kerr. J C Cooper. Nutbush, County Line and a few others. and the great thing is they are cheaper than Virginia State Parks. Seniors get a discount, no Dog charge, etc.
