Fees are based on two adults and two children under 18. Limit 6 persons per site. Additional adult $8.00, additional child $5.00.
The above is from a place we camp every year on a MAN TRIP (Dad, 4 out of 5 brothers and as many of my adult nephews willing/able to take the time to hang with their 80 yr old grandpap. We typically have 10-12 people, and require 2 sites, plus pay an additional $8.00 on 6-8 people. Gets kinda pricey.
We tried a State Park family site ONCE. They allowed all of us for a single price (I think they allow up to 15 people on these "family" sites). Problem was, we had to hide the BEER (NO ALCOHOL in state park). A bunch of middle-aged men, hiding beer. Not worth the cheaper price. NO WE ARE NOT THE ROWDY DRUNKS...just don't think at 51 yrs old I should have to HIDE a beer.
This year will be the 8th annual man trip. I wouldn't miss it for the world. The laughs and memories us MEN are getting to share, is worth ANY price.
Moral of the story.... screw that place you thought you wanted to go. You are a family of seven, find a place that accepts that, then GO RVing.
