Thank you to everyone for all the replies!
I should say that I completely understand the need for rules and occupancy limits. That being said, six adults is very different that two adults and five kids. I did some searching around and it doesn't look like I'll have trouble finding a different spot.
Some other people brought up another instersting point about the 30 foot RV possibly being too small. I found that very interesting. I guess it is all a matter of persepctive. Until recently we had only camped in tents, so I was thinking a 30 foot RV would be enormous!
A year and a half ago my wife (at only 31 year old!!!) had some pretty serious back problems. She ended up having two back surgeries in February 2014. She now is the proud owner of two fused vertebrae with a couple of titanium screws! Anyway, three months later we decided to go camping. Like I said, we had always gone dispersed camping out in the middle of nowhere in the national forest in tents. I ended up finding a 25 foot trailer to rent. It was AMAZING! I couldn't believe how much room there was.
Now I will say there weren't too many times that we were all in there at once. In fact, I think it did rain once or twice and I seem to recall that I was about to lose my mind.
Hmm..... Maybe I should have gotten a bigger RV...
Oh well, in the end we are all really excited about this new experience we are going to have. If it doesn't go as well as I am envisioning at least we'll still have some good memories and stories!
