There is a KOA in Spartanburg/Gaffney. Has a nice pool, playground.
In Greenville there is the Zoo, Children's Museum, Runway Park at GMU (see reviews), Frankie's Fun Park, Falls Park on the Reedy, Paris Mountain State Park has a campground and hiking, biking, swimming, paddle boats, canoes.
