- oliverquibbleExplorerNo not there.BUT there is an a wonderful site called Sugar Mill Creek RV. IT is on Lake Burton, north of Atlanta. Great time
- Chock_Full_o__NExplorerAre you asking about Sweetwater Creek State Park, off I-20 west of Atlanta, or Sweetwater COE, off I-75 northwest of Atlanta? Sweetwater Creek SP doesn't have camping. Sweetwater COE is up on Lake Allatoona and it's pretty nice. Doesn't have FHU but the grounds are nice & wooded and sites are far enough apart that you don't feel like you're on top of each other.
- 7ofusExplorerSweetwater Valley RV park is in Villa Rica about 20 miles west of Atlanta. It is a private park and we have stayed there. Very simple and definitely quiet and secluded. We loved it and will definitely be back. We only live about 15 miles away, so it makes for an easy getaway.
Sweetwater Creek State Park is in Douglasville and does not have camping although they did about 25 years ago. I understand they are in the process of getting Yurts in the near future.
