Thanksgiving weekend So Cal camping.

Thinking of spending a non traditional Thanksgiving weekend with visiting family by doing some camping. Need some suggestions for campgrounds or rv resorts in Southern California, maybe as far north as SLO. A friend mentioned Vail Lake Rv Resort, they appear to have lots of things for teen age kids to do and good chance for decent weather. Any advice would be appreciated. We will have two trailers twenty five and thirty footers. Thanks.
  • Check the reviews of Vail Lake, it is expensive and does not include the lake! Lake Skinner is much better.
  • Camping at thanksgiving is our tradition. We are out in Johnson valley with a few thousand others.

We end up with a communal thanksgiving with a group of 20-30 fellow campers.

And you can still watch the games.
