Well, I'm glad everything turned out OK in the end.
I will compliment you on the way you handled the neighbor campers. Well done. There's been lots of controversy on these forums how to handle things just like you experienced. You did well!
Keeping cool under pressure when parking your rig with lots of spectators! You did great there again! You did it successful! That's the important thing!
Sounds like you also handled the 2 fixes on your camper quite well also. It really pays to invest time in learning your camper, understanding all the components, and not be afraid to jump in and attempt a fix when something gets broken.
Also, you had good wits about you, knowing where to go for spare parts!
I say all this, because I think you might have taught Kid #2 a lesson never learned in college: Common sense and a level head is MUCH more important than any education! Hope Kid #2 realized that from a pretty darn good teacher!
