Wooden Camping Signs - Family names

Hi. When my wife and I married my family bought us a wooden sign for camping. It is a wooden largemouth bass with our last name on it. Under it hangs 2 little fish, each has our first names on it.

We now have 2 kids and want to add them to the list!! Does anyone know where I can buy these from? I am assuming i'll have to find something online, but i am from Central PA (harrisburg) if anyone knows of something local.

We are hoping we can either get their signs to look like little worms, tadpoles or frogs.

Thanks for any leads!!

  • We got ours made a Knoebels as well. It features a pup and campfire. I don't plan on putting the kiddos on there. I should have put a bass on one side, and buck on the other.
  • Had ours made at Knoebels (Catawissa Pa) as well. Bet they could add on or at the very least, make an entire new one. Good Luck!
  • There is a wood working guy at Knobels. THat is where we got our camping sign.
  • We had ours made in Blue Ball/Intercourse area in Pa (Amish Country). There is/was a sign shop there that made whatever you wanted while you waited. They have signs shaped like motorhomes / TT/ Fifth wheels, and individual names hang below.

  • Flea markets or fairs usually have someone who makes signs with your name on them. I'd take one of the little fish with me to show what you want( a pattern). Or even some one with good woodworking skills, again using what you have for a pattern. Gary
